Hi! I'm a

Game Developer

I'm Eddie, a games programmer and artist who's passionate about creating games with novel gameplay and stylish visuals.

I graduated from UTS with a Bachelor of Games Development (sub-majoring in Interaction Design), and developed various games in both Unity and Unreal Engine during that time. If you like what you see, feel free to contact me here.

Games I've Worked On

A physics-based platformer that challenges players with various bread-centric obstacles and ideas.

A collection of four-player, motion controlled mini games for the UTS Data Arena - a 360 degree virtual space.

A solo-made, retro-themed tennis game that you can play in various modes with up to 3 friends, or alone against AI.

A top-down fighter where two players each hand-pick a team of mythic creatures and duke it out by employing elemental synergies.

A party brawler where up to four players compete to see who can nab the most treasure before time runs out.

A top-down strategy set in a hand-animated, watercolour world. I led the art team, created concepts and characters, and did animation.

Illustration and 3D

I've been drawing for a long time, and continue to develop my skills both as a hobby and by creating illustrations for my projects.

I've recurringly worked in Blender to model, texture, rig and animate characters for integration in my games and animation projects.

Supporting Illustration

Projects I've worked on have each required various supplementary documentation, diagrams and drawings to visually illustrate ideas and designs. I've often undertaken the task of creating these, and they prove important in facilitating better communication between team members and ensuring everyone is on the same page.

Other Projects

A university project I developed with a partner in Unreal Engine 4. I programmed the subsystem that controls the AI agents, the majority of the gameplay code, and implemented networked multiplayer.

Imagine, Man is a 3 minute animation I created as one of my HSC major works. It combines both 2D and 3D, and was created using Animate, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Blender.

At university, I developed several tools for Maya using Python. These included tools for generating procedurally animated cars, configuring cameras, and a publishing and versioning system for pipeline.
